Welcome to BSO Kastanjetuin, located at St. Josephstraat 5 in the heart of Breda. We are part of Kober, a trusted organization that has been providing quality childcare in the region for many years. Our location is situated right next to KBS St. Joseph primary school, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from school to after-school care. At BSO Kastanjetuin, we combine the best of both worlds: the dynamics of the city and the tranquility of nature. Despite our central location, we offer children a surprisingly green environment. We have our own vegetable and herb garden at the edge of the school playground where children with green fingers can plant and care for their own vegetables and herbs. Additionally, we use the spacious gymnasium of the school for sports activities and have a creative studio where children can craft, paint, and build. Our pedagogical staff organize daily varied activities that match the interests and development of each child. From preparing popcorn in our kitchen to building huts in the garden, from sports and games in the gymnasium to creative projects in the studio. We believe that children develop best by playing, discovering, and exploring new talents in a safe and stimulating environment. We pick up children from KBS St. Joseph, KBS de Liniedoorn (on Fridays), and KBS de Spoorzoeker (on Wednesdays and Fridays). For parents, we offer the convenient Parent App through which we share daily photos and updates, so you can still experience a bit of what your child has been doing. BSO Kastanjetuin consists of two buildings: 'the House' at St. Josephstraat 3 and our location at St. Josephstraat 5. Both locations work closely together and share the same vision on childcare: giving children the space to be themselves, to grow, and to flourish in a homely atmosphere.
