Kapoentje

Welcome to Kapoentje, our homely toddler care centre located at Plevier 97 in Hoogvliet Rotterdam. We are part of KindeRdam Kinderopvang B.V. and provide care for up to 32 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. At Kapoentje, everything revolves around thematic learning: each period focuses on a different exciting theme such as the human body, colours, or transportation. We immerse the children in the theme through fun activities and games that perfectly match the topic. Creativity is highly valued. Together with the toddlers, we create creative craft projects that fit the theme of the period. This not only stimulates creativity but also develops the children's fine motor skills. Additionally, we read engaging stories that connect to the theme, integrating it in a playful and captivating way into daily activities. We consciously pay attention to the different seasons throughout the year. This way, toddlers learn playfully about changes in nature and the associated traditions and activities. Our warm and inviting environment breathes village life, making your little one feel at home immediately. Together with parents, we create a pleasant and stimulating environment. We value close cooperation and a relationship of trust with parents through regular conversations about their child. Our active parent committee contributes ideas about the pedagogical policy plan and other important matters.
