Welcome to BSO Kameleon Ubbergseveldweg, located inside primary school De Sterredans at Ubbergseveldweg 97 in Nijmegen-Oost. Our team provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. We work closely with the school and make full use of the spacious on-site facilities. After school we share some fruit together and then the fun begins. Children are placed in age groups – the youngest join base group Aapjes – and receive a tailor-made activity programme. Our youngest children play on a green, adventurous playground with water and building elements. Older children maintain their own vegetable garden, run the free-running track and regularly light a fire at our self-built fireplace. Inside we have a cosy hall that we transform into a theatre or cinema. Here we host ‘bso got talent’ contests, bso musicals and creative workshops. We also use the school gym for sports and movement activities. Children decide for themselves whether to join an activity, get creative, play outside or simply relax. During term time we are ready to collect children on the days and times that De Sterredans has classes. In school holidays we are open all day from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm and organise extra challenging activities.
