Welcome to BSO De Kajuit in Gasselternijveen, part of skid kinderopvang. We provide after-school care for up to 20 children in one warm and welcoming group. Our location is situated in community centre MFC De Spil at Ceresstraat 4, where we share the building with daycare De Berenboot. We believe that after-school time should be free time. That’s why children at De Kajuit can choose every day from a wide range of activities – from sports and games to theatre, cooking, creative workshops, dance or something fun with animals. Of course, it’s also perfectly fine if a child prefers to quietly read a book or play on their own. We offer flexible childcare and are guided by each child’s needs. Our team is small and close-knit, ensuring short lines of communication and personal attention. Our pedagogical staff work both at the after-school care and at the daycare, so children moving from De Berenboot to De Kajuit will always see familiar faces. This creates a sense of security and continuity. Outside, children can enjoy themselves on our large playground. We believe it’s important that children can develop freely and are allowed to make their own choices about how they spend their free time. In this way, they learn new things through play and discover their own interests. BSO De Kajuit is for children aged 4 to 12 and offers care after school, during holidays and on study days.
