Welcome to KDV Kabouterland at Koninginneweg 2 in the heart of old IJsselmonde. Since 1992 we have been dedicating ourselves wholeheartedly to the very youngest. Our beautiful 1930 building has been completely renovated into a warm and safe day-care centre where children from 0 to 4 years quickly feel at home. We work with separate baby groups and toddler groups. This means that the daily schedule and activities are perfectly tailored to your child’s age and development. Babies have their own quiet sleeping rooms and a sheltered baby garden; toddlers explore a large, adventurous garden full of safe challenges. Every child can play, sleep and grow at his or her own pace. We offer an experienced and permanent team of pedagogical staff. Your child sees familiar faces every day and receives the attention he or she deserves. We use the Uk & Puk development programme, which stimulates language, motor skills and social skills through play. In addition, we monitor development with the KIJK! programme, which is also used in many primary schools. This way our approach dovetails seamlessly with the next step in education. Our spacious group rooms are cosily furnished with lots of natural materials and challenging toys. We provide a hot meal, fresh fruit and healthy snacks.
