Kabouter

Peuteropvang Kabouter is located in De Franciscusschool in the Molenvliet district, together with after-school care (BSO) Rakkers. We provide professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our location features a spacious outdoor playground with a nature garden where children can play and discover every day. Our toddler care facility is equipped with various corners that invite play and development. Children can express themselves in the doll corner, relax in the reading corner with cozy seating, build in the car and construction corner, or get creative at the large tables with crafts and puzzles. We work with various themes that connect with children's experiences. We use the Uk & Puk method, a recognized program for preschool education. Approximately 5 times per year we cover a Uk & Puk theme, where we playfully work on language, math and social skills development. Additionally, various other themes are covered that align with current events and children's interests. At our location we work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&Co Ludens. This means we give children space to be themselves and discover who they are. We believe that play is discovery and learning, and therefore offer a rich and inspiring environment where children are challenged to be curious. Our pedagogical staff have attention for each child and create a warm and safe atmosphere where having fun and feeling comfortable are central. During school holidays our toddler care is closed. We provide care during mornings where children learn and develop through play. Our nature garden offers plenty of opportunities to discover how plants grow, observe insects, and simply enjoy playing outside in the fresh air.
