Juut & CO Peuteropvang Nijntje

Peuteropvang Nijntje is part of Stichting Peuteropvang Juut & Co and is located within the Dorpsschool at Dorpsstraat 84 in Halle. We offer small-scale daycare for a maximum of 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. The group is horizontally structured, meaning all children are within the same age range. We provide a safe and caring environment where your child feels at home and can develop optimally. Our space is designed with different play corners such as a home corner, car corner, construction corner, and reading corner. These are set up with toys, benches, and cabinets to encourage exploration, play, and learning at each child’s own pace. Our program is broad and engaging. We sing, read aloud, craft, and paint. Language development is supported in a playful way, for example by reenacting stories or crafting around a theme. Outdoor play is also an important part of our day. We use the adjacent outdoor area with play equipment and a separate shed filled with play materials. We follow a consistent daily routine that provides structure and reassurance. You can bring your child at 8:30 AM. Around 10:00 AM, we have fruit and juice. After that, children can play freely or take part in theme-based activities. Pick-up is at 12:30 PM. The minimum attendance is one half-day per week to ensure continuity and familiarity with the staff and other children. Peuteropvang Nijntje offers early childhood education (VE), giving your child a head start in their development. Our activities are tailored to the children’s world of experience and are organized around monthly themes. Every child is given the space to be themselves and to develop in their own way. Parents are always welcome for a chat at drop-off or pick-up. We value good communication with parents and invite you for an introductory meeting and a settling-in session before your child starts. This helps us build a trusting and warm partnership.
