Welcome to KDV and Peuteropvang De Pannevogel, part of Juut & Co. We are located in the Integral Child Centre (IKC) at Prins Bernhardlaan 5A in Steenderen and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4. Our priority is a safe and caring environment where your child feels at home and can develop optimally. We work with vertical groups: all children from 0 to 4 years are together. This setup mirrors a family setting; older children help the little ones and serve as role models. In this way children learn to take each other into account and a pleasant group dynamic emerges naturally. Our space offers plenty of opportunities to play and discover. Inside there are small tables for eating, crafting or building, and a relaxation corner to unwind. Outside we have a secure garden with play equipment, bikes, carts and a sandbox. When the weather is nice we picnic outside and play with water, so your child gets lots of fresh air and natural stimuli. We follow a fixed daily rhythm that provides structure and regularity. You can bring your child between 07:00 and 09:00. Around 09:30 we have fruit and juice, at 11:30 a sandwich with milk, and in the afternoon a biscuit or cracker. All meals and drinks are provided by us; you only need to inform us of any allergies. Between the fixed moments children can play freely or take part in activities linked to the current theme. For babies we follow their individual rhythm around feeding, sleeping and playing, always in consultation with you. Care is available per half-day (maximum five hours) or a full day. The sessions run from 08:00-13:00 and 13:00-18:00. If you occasionally need earlier or later care, you can request extended care up to two days in advance via our head office. We are open all year round, except on national public holidays.
