Junia Parsstraat Katwijk

Welcome to Junia Parsstraat Katwijk, our toddler group right in the Hoornes neighbourhood. We are located on the ground floor of the Prins Willem-Alexanderschool, with which we work closely. In this way the children already get a playful impression of primary school and can make the transition with confidence. At our location there is plenty for your child to see, experience and discover. We work with one vertical group of a maximum of 16 children, so that brothers and sisters can play together and learn from different ages. The pedagogical staff give every child room to develop at his or her own pace. We follow the Peuterstart method, a recognised VVE programme that stimulates language and cognitive development. Through games, songs and picture books the children playfully become acquainted with colours, shapes, numbers and concepts such as big and small, near and far. Outside there is a safe garden where the children can run, cycle, build sandcastles or make huts together to their heart’s content. We believe it is important that children get plenty of fresh air and learn to discover nature. When it rains we put on our rain boots and coats and happily make mud pies. Together with the children we look at worms, leaves and flowers and teach them respect for all living things. Our childcare is aimed at letting children grow up from Christian values. We sing songs together, read Bible stories and teach children to share, take each other into account and help where they can. In this way they grow into confident children who will go to primary school with a solid foundation.
