Juffies SPEELopvang

Welcome to Juffies SPEELopvang, our small-scale childcare centre in the Lewenborg district of Groningen. We provide care for children aged 18 months to 4 years in a homely atmosphere where play takes centre stage. Our name says it all: SPEELopvang (PLAY-care). We believe that children develop positively in an environment where they are invited and challenged to play in the broadest sense of the word. By discovering talents together in a group or individually, children grow through play. In our building at Lijzijde 4, we have set up a real theatre and an atelier. Here children can fully express their creativity and imagination. Whether it's (theatre) playing, dancing, singing, making music, crafting, drawing or painting – anything goes and that's perfectly fine. We build on each child's talents and provide space for discovery and wonder. We work in a demand-driven way and, thanks to the clear short lines within our organisation, we can tailor our SPEELopvang hours as much as possible to the wishes of the parent(s). Our vertical groups consist of a maximum of 16 children with familiar faces, creating a secure and safe environment. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We are closed on official holidays and a few specific days such as King's Day and Gronings Ontzet. For the youngest children we provide nappies and bottle feeding, so parents can delegate care worry-free.
