Juffie Maartje

Welcome to Juffie Maartje Peuteropvang, located at Texandrilaan 30 in Apeldoorn. We provide childcare with the character of a playgroup for children aged 2 to 4 years. In our small-scale group of maximum 8 children, your toddler gets all the space to play, discover and develop. Our approach is inspired by Waldorf education. We work with fixed rhythms and seasons, paying much attention to creative expression through singing, painting and handicrafts. The children get acquainted with natural materials and have plenty of time to grow at their own pace. Outdoor play is an important part of our daily activities. We have our own outdoor playground where children can move freely and discover nature. When weather permits, we eat outside and use our outdoor spaces for play and relaxation. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 to 12:30. During these mornings we serve a healthy bread meal with various toppings, fresh fruit and drinks. Our approach is designed to prepare children for primary school, working playfully on language development, social skills and independence. Juffie Maartje works closely with Vrije School De Vijfster, which is located at the same premises. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition to primary school. We apply the same pedagogical principles and values, giving your child a familiar and continuous developmental environment.
