Partou Jubelz after-school care is located in the quiet, green residential area ‘de Dracht’ at Dracht 26 in Grootebroek. Every school day we pick the children up from primary school – on foot, by bike or by taxi – and bring them to our spacious location. A large garden with discovery corners is waiting for them and we go outside every single day, rain or shine! Inside, children can choose from a variety of activities: crafting, cooking, building and playing games. We work with horizontal age groups so children play and learn within their own age range. Our pedagogical professionals guide them using our six building blocks: while playing they develop new skills, gain self-confidence and learn to cooperate. Through our own app we keep parents informed: a message that everything is going well, a photo of a freshly built tower or a short report of the exploration in the garden. This way parents know exactly how the afternoon is going. At the end of the afternoon we all go outside together before the parents arrive. We finish with a short hand-over so everyone goes home with a good feeling.
