Welcome to childcare JOY in Zwolle! We provide loving care, developmental guidance and daily nature experiences in our beautiful green outdoor space. This enhances children's self-reliance, resilience and vocabulary. At JOY, we provide daycare for children aged 0-4 years. Play is the primary way for children to discover, experience, explore and develop. Therefore, play holds an important place within JOY and in our spacious outdoor area. Through play, children develop and connect with their environment. It is essential that children can develop their own play. Our pedagogical staff guide children by offering encouragement and challenges. When children play independently, we step back, allowing them to develop and express themselves in their own creative way and at their own pace. In addition to free play, we offer a variety of activities: playing with materials, music, word and gesture, language, dance and visual arts. All developmental areas are stimulated. Daily, we work on children's self-reliance and independence. Over time, children learn to go to the toilet independently, wash hands, put on jackets and shoes, clean up, take out a puzzle, complete it and put it away, etc. We work in a child-centered way: we observe what the child can already do and where they are at developmentally. Children receive compliments when they succeed and a helping hand when they need assistance.
