Welcome to Jonas daycare, located in the Pijlsweerd district along the Vecht river in Utrecht. Our daycare center is housed in a building specifically designed for childcare. Upon entering, the large aquarium at child height in the hall immediately catches the eye, where toddlers have been happily feeding the 'monster fish' a little bit of food every day for sixteen years. In addition to the group rooms, we have a spacious central hall that invites all kinds of activities. This hall also features a movement floor that we regularly use with great pleasure. For the very youngest, we have a separate outdoor area with a large sunshade, where babies can lie comfortably in the grass listening to the rustling of the leaves. In our studio, children can let their creativity run wild and enjoy getting messy with paint and other materials. Outside, children can play with bikes, bake cakes in the sandbox, or crawl through the 'bushes'. Every Wednesday, we offer a special 3+ group for toddlers, featuring age-appropriate activities to prepare them for primary school. Our horizontal group structure consists of three baby groups and two toddler groups, each with their own living room area where doors open to the communal spaces.
