Welcome to Jillz Day Care Nursery at Lindenlaan 388 in Amstelveen. We provide a loving, intimate home-from-home for up to 16 children from three months to four years in one vertical group. This means your child stays in the same familiar group with the same dedicated staff from the very first day, creating security and continuity. Our educational approach is inspired by Thomas Gordon, Reggio Emilia and Maria Montessori. We entice children to use their imagination through a rich variety of activities: we sing and make music, dance, create arts & crafts, read stories and visit the local library. We also implement the early-education programmes Peuterplein and Raai de Kraai to support language and cognitive development. Three days a week the children enjoy a freshly prepared warm lunch; at other times they eat organic whole-grain bread, vegetarian products and vegetables and herbs from our own little garden. Every day we aim to have an extra member of staff in the group. This allows us to give each child the personal attention they deserve and to organise extra outings and activities. We go outside daily in our green discovery garden or take short trips in the neighbourhood. Parents follow the day through our parent app, receiving photos and updates on sleeping, eating and activities. Jillz Day Care Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.15 p.m., 51 weeks a year. We are closed on national holidays and one study day. Our LRK registration number is 620960279.
