Jansens Vlinder

Jansens Vlinder is our largest daycare center, located at Pauwoogvlinder 68 in Leidsche Rijn, next to Groot Zandveld park and opposite 't Zand child cluster. Together with architect Frans Brakkee, we designed and built the entire facility according to our own vision. Large windows provide abundant natural light, while natural materials create a warm, homely atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. At Jansens Vlinder, we provide care for 92 children aged 0-4. On the ground floor, you'll find four baby-toddler groups: Sgaapjes, Oojefaartjes, Beitjes and Seehontjes, plus two toddler groups: Neilpaartjes and Eeseltjes. Our 3-plus group, the Pingwings, is located on the first floor. We consciously work with horizontal groups because we believe each age category requires its own specific approach. Our spacious play hall on the ground floor borders all groups and forms the heart of the location. Toddlers play in the front garden, while babies and toddlers use the sheltered play area at the back. In our garden, children can climb and clamber, develop imaginative play, cycle and play with sand. We regularly take walks to Groot Zandveld park, the sheepfold or nearby playgrounds. Throughout the year, we work with themes that include dancing, singing, crafts, reading and stimulating imaginative play. Our team consists of a beautiful mix of experience and youthful pedagogical talent. These champions ensure five days a week that parents can leave their children with peace of mind.
