Jansens Apenkooi

Jansens Apenkooi is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) run by Kinderparadijs Jansen & Jansen, located at Prinses Margrietstraat 124 in Utrecht. We provide care for up to 43 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. The location is organised into three base groups, ensuring personal attention and a homely atmosphere. Our doors remain open until 18:30 every weekday, giving parents the flexibility to finish work while their children are in trusted hands. At Jansens Apenkooi the child is always at the centre. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where children can relax, play and discover new things after school. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide the children with care and respect, making every child feel seen and heard. Thanks to our small scale, we know each child well and can respond to individual needs and interests. The location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 165054499 since 1 July 2024. We work according to the vision of Kinderparadijs Jansen & Jansen: children are given space to develop at their own pace, with play, creativity and social skills at the heart of everything we do. In short, Jansens Apenkooi is the place where school-age children can count on familiar faces, fun activities and a warm sense of home after school.
