Welcome to It Roekeltsje KDV, located in the heart of Warten at Schoolstraat 2. Our small-scale daycare center provides a homely and safe environment for children from 10 weeks to 4 years old. We believe in the power of familiar faces and small groups, ensuring each child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our location is housed in a charming former school building with a spacious natural garden. This green play environment invites exploration, gardening and outdoor play. We believe it's important for children to connect with nature from an early age and learn to discover their surroundings through play. As a bilingual daycare, we follow the 'one caregiver, one language' principle. This means your child will hear and learn to understand both Dutch and Frisian. Our permanent pedagogical staff create a warm and familiar atmosphere where your child can develop optimally. We offer flexible childcare options, tailored to your family's needs. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For babies and young children, we have special sleeping areas and all facilities for bottle feeding and care available. At It Roekeltsje, we believe it's important that children feel at home. That's why we work with permanent caregivers who really get to know your child. Our approach is small-scale and personal, exactly what you would expect from a good daycare center.
