It Roekeltsje BSO

It Roekeltsje BSO is located in a former school building at Schoolstraat 2 in Warten, Friesland. We provide after-school care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 in a homely and spacious setting. Our regular staff pick the children up from school and welcome them with a drink and a biscuit. Outdoor play is central to our approach: our large natural playground offers plenty of space to move, garden and build huts. We work on a small, flexible scale so every child feels safe and at ease and can develop to the fullest. It Roekeltsje is officially bilingual: Dutch and Frisian. We follow the ‘one staff member, one language’ principle, allowing children to become familiar with both languages through play. Our location is centrally situated in Friesland and easily accessible from Leeuwarden, Wergea, Burgum, Earnewâld and Garyp. Children can join us before and after school and during holidays. We offer a secure, familiar place where fun and development go hand in hand.
