Welcome to peuteropvang It Klimmerblêd, part of SKIK Kinderopvang in Sint Nicolaasga. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment where children truly feel at home. Our childcare center is located at De Pit 2, in the same building as primary school It Klimmerblêd. At SKIK, fun is central - 'SKIK' means 'fun' in Frisian! We believe children grow best when they feel comfortable, safe and seen. Our pedagogical professionals create a recognizable daily rhythm with inspiring activities that match each child's development. For outdoor play, we use the nearby playground where children can run, climb and clamber to their heart's content. When weather is poor, we use the school's playroom where children can move and play indoors. We offer a rich play environment where every child feels heard and valued. Our core values of attention, growth and pleasure are reflected in everything we do. Children have space to discover, build confidence and develop social skills. We work closely with the primary school and other partners to align well with education and what parents find important. SKIK is more than childcare: we are your pedagogical partner.
