It Hummelhonk (peuteropvang)

Welcome to It Hummelhonk, our small-scale daycare center specially designed for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years, located at Smidsreed 6 in Tzum. As part of the It Hummelhonk Foundation, we provide care for a maximum of 15 children, ensuring peace, overview, and plenty of personal attention. Our toddler care has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since October 26, 2015, under number 115303352. We operate under the supervision of GGD Fryslân and on behalf of the municipality of Waadhoeke. At It Hummelhonk, your toddler's development is our main focus. We provide preschool education (VVE), preparing children for primary school in a playful manner. Our activities are tailored to toddlers' world of experience and stimulate their language, motor, and social skills. We work with horizontal groups, where children of the same age play and learn together. This provides peace and familiarity for the children and allows our childcare professionals to specifically respond to your child's developmental stage.
