It Fûgelnêst

Welcome to it fûgelnêst in Koudum, a warm and trusted place where children learn and grow through play. We are officially registered as a daycare centre with the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân and provide care for up to 76 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our home is located at Binnendijk 13, right in the heart of Koudum. At it fûgelnêst everything revolves around a safe and loving environment in which every child is given the space to discover themselves, make new friends and explore the world with joy. We organise fun activities, creative games and offer personal attention so that each child truly feels at home. Our pedagogical team is ready every day to stimulate your child’s development in a playful way. We are open six days a week: Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30 and on Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00. We remain open during school holidays; only on official public holidays are we closed. Working and studying parents can rely on us for flexible days and hours. it fûgelnêst provides pre-school education (VVE). This means we devote extra attention to language, numeracy and social skills, ensuring your child starts primary school well prepared. Our groups are horizontally structured: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are in separate age groups, each with their own rooms and age-appropriate toys.
