It fûgelnêst

Welcome to it fûgelnêst BSO at Dammenseweg 3 in Koudum! Since December 2023, we have been located at this spacious new location where we provide children aged 4 to 12 with a wonderful place to relax after school. At our BSO, after-school time is truly free time. Children have the space to choose what they want to do, make plans, and play together. After school, they are warmly welcomed by our staff and there's time for food, drinks, and catching up. Attention and a cozy atmosphere are central to everything we do. We've created a homely environment where children feel safe and comfortable. Our group room offers various play materials, but the real gem is our large outdoor space! Here children can enjoy sports and games. Since moving to Dammenseweg, we even have our own vegetable garden where children can garden under supervision and learn about vegetables and flowers. Our pre-school care starts at 7:30 AM. At 8:15 AM, our staff escort the children to school. After school, we pick up the children from primary school and bring them to 'it fûgelnêst'. Upon arrival, there's always something to drink and eat waiting for them. During school holidays, we offer holiday care from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Throughout the day, children receive fruit, bread, and drinks. We organize challenging activities following a theme schedule, making use of our beautiful outdoor space and creative possibilities. Parents stay informed through our website, email, notice board, and app contact. We send newsletters several times a year and organize an annual parent evening.
