BSO IKC De Waterlelie

Welcome to BSO IKC De Waterlelie, located at Goudenregenzoom 73 in Zoetermeer. We are part of gro-up and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 years in a familiar, safe environment that seamlessly connects to the school day. Our BSO is a small-scale location where we care for a maximum of 20 children daily. We are open from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM on school days and from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM during holidays and study days. Children aged 4-6 stay within the IKC itself, in the auditorium and a classroom. Children aged 6-9 are walked to our second location at Plataanhout 53 after school. For children aged 9 to 13, we have the KIDSclub, where they enjoy challenging activities with peers in their own dedicated space. Free time and fun are central to our approach. We offer a varied program with sports, games, music, cooking, reading, technology, and creative activities. Nothing is mandatory and almost everything is allowed. We use the surrounding park, our nature garden, and playground for outdoor activities. We also utilize facilities in the building such as the gym and playroom. During holidays, we organize an amazing holiday program with one central theme. Each holiday is a new adventure with various activities and excursions. We value child participation: children are involved in thinking about the layout, play materials, and activity offerings. At the KIDSclub, we even have a children's council where kids learn to express their opinions and negotiate together. We work closely with IKC De Waterlelie and IKC De Floriant. After school, children are met by our pedagogical staff in the IKC or picked up if necessary. We communicate through a parent app to keep you informed about your child's experiences.
