Welcome to Prokino Imme Zuid, our loving daycare center located at Zuster Meyboomlaan 10 in Apeldoorn. For more than 30 years, we have been providing loving care to the youngest children and kids up to 4 years old at this beautiful, forested location in the Ugchelen district. Our daycare is situated in a green environment with the forest as our backyard and a small petting zoo just around the corner. When weather permits, we love to take walks to the animal meadow where children can meet the farm animals. We work with small horizontal groups, caring for a maximum of 12 children per group with 5 to 6 children per caregiver. Our pedagogical staff provide a homely environment that resembles home as much as possible, with the same daily rhythm and lots of personal attention. For each child, we organize age-appropriate activities: from reading books and doing crafts with the little ones, to singing and playful learning with toddlers and preschoolers. For our toddler group, we use the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program Uk & Puk. Together with puppet Puk, your toddler experiences various adventures that stimulate development through play. This program focuses on social-emotional development, language development, and motor skills. We believe it's important that children first get to know themselves before starting elementary school. Our location is open 52 weeks per year from Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer flexible childcare and parents can swap days when needed. Diapers and formula feeding are included with us, so parents don't need to bring these themselves. We have our own outdoor playground where children can play and explore safely. At Prokino Imme Zuid, we value cooperation with parents highly. We work together on teaching values and norms and encourage children to try new things without fear. Our mission is simple: let children just be children, so they can grow and become who they are.
