Welcome to KDV IKC St. Martinus, located at Martinusweg 6 in the heart of Oud-Zevenaar. Our daycare center is part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) St. Martinus, where childcare and education have been working together seamlessly for over twenty years. Since February 1, 2021, St. Martinus primary school and Zonnekinderen Childcare have joined forces to provide a continuous development line from 0 to 13 years. Our small-scale daycare is open every weekday from 07:00 to 18:30 and provides care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. In a familiar, homely setting, our professional childcare staff guide your child in their development. The toddler group is strategically located next to the kindergarten classes, with whom we work intensively. Your toddler regularly meets the kindergarten children during joint play sessions. This way they learn from each other, the step to kindergarten becomes smaller, and confidence in the school environment grows naturally. We work from a shared vision where involvement and well-being are central. The children play under the tall trees of our naturally designed playground and truly feel at home here. Our approach fully aligns with the Experience-Based Education (EGO) of the primary school, where we focus on the individual qualities of each child. Through this collaboration, we guarantee low thresholds, smooth transitions, and optimal communication with all parents.
