IKC Prins Claus

Welcome to the daycare centre of IKC Prins Claus, located at Straspad 1 in the green heart of Zoetermeer-Rokkeveen. We are a small-scale KDV facility with two horizontal baby and toddler groups for children aged 0 to 4. Together with our partner Junis Kinderopvang we share one building with the primary school, giving your child a seamless development line from childcare to education. Safety, calm and structure are our guiding principles. Each group follows its own clear daily routine with fixed moments for play, sleep, meals and cuddles. Our pedagogical staff give plenty of individual attention and tailor activities precisely to your child’s age and developmental stage. The youngest babies sleep in separate bedrooms with cribs and baby monitors; toddlers use a shared rest area with beds and small tables. Discovery happens both indoors and outdoors. Our spacious, natural playground borders a large park and offers ample room for crawling, walking, climbing and playing with sand and water. We regularly go out into the neighbourhood: a visit to the petting farm, a walk to Burgemeester Hoekstra Park or a treasure hunt along the flowerbeds. Older toddlers are invited to “join in” sessions in the kindergarten class, making the eventual transition smooth and natural. Parents experience our care as warm and personal. You will have one fixed contact person who tells you daily how the day went. We use a parent portal where you can follow photos, sleep and meal times. Tours are available by appointment so you can quietly see how we look after your child with love and attention.
