IKC Noordeinde

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of IKC Noordeinde, part of the Integral Child Centre located at Bijvoetplan 43-45 in Zoetermeer. We are a small-scale BSO where children aged 4 to 13 can unwind after school in a familiar and homely setting. As part of the IKC we work closely with the Christian primary school Noordeinde and childcare organisation Junis. Our pedagogical staff collect children on foot from nearby primary schools; for schools located further away we use our own (bicycle) buses or arrange transport with a taxi company. Our BSO features a cosy dining and conversation table, a doll corner and a car corner. After school, children are also welcome to use the school’s rooms for crafts or quiet homework. We have our own discovery garden with comfortable lounge spots for the older children and access to the school playground with climbing equipment. The outdoor area is designed in a natural style and borders directly on our vertical group, in which we take each child’s individual development into account. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 14:30 to 18:30 and Wednesday from 12:00 to 18:30. During school holidays and study days we provide holiday care from 07:30 to 18:30. Parents can request extra days via the parent portal and include a holiday card in their contract. We communicate with parents through Junis’ Parent App and keep parents informed of all activities and developments. Our Christian identity is guiding in a modern way; respect for each child’s individuality is central. We celebrate Christian holidays and pay attention to values and norms, based on mutual respect. Together with parents we create a safe and stimulating environment in which children can develop optimally.
