IKC IJsselmonde

Kindcentrum IJsselmonde is a warm and safe place located at Heindijk 20 in Rotterdam-Zuid, where primary education, special primary education, toddler care and our after-school care (BSO) all come together under one roof. We are the heart of the IJsselmonde neighbourhood and offer children aged 4 to 13 a familiar place to play, discover and grow after school. Our BSO is housed in a spacious and bright building. During the day, children use their own ‘grand café’ in the large hall and have access to the entire school. Outside, they can play safely on the fully enclosed playground and the additional outdoor area above. We regularly organise activities tailored to your child’s age, such as football and music. If your child prefers some quiet time, there is always space to read a book or relax with friends. Anything goes, little is required. The collaboration between our BSO, the toddler care and the school is close: we work with the same themes and know each other well. This ensures that the care seamlessly connects to the school day and every child receives exactly the attention they need. We also remain open during school holidays. During these breaks, we offer BSO Holiday Land: a fun programme with challenging activities around various themes, so boredom is never an issue. We highly value parental involvement. We keep parents informed through the Parro app and regularly organise opportunities to meet and talk. Feel free to drop by – we would love to show you how great our BSO is!
