IKC Het Sterrenbos

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of IKC Het Sterrenbos, located at van Wijkstraat 16b in Huissen. We are part of the Integral Child Center Het Sterrenbos and work closely with childcare organization Zonnekinderen. Our BSO provides care for school-age children from 4 to 13 years old, both before and after school hours, as well as during holidays and study days. Our location is open 52 weeks per year from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Before-school care starts at 7:00 AM and lasts until the start of the school day. After-school care begins immediately after school ends and continues until 6:30 PM. During holidays and study days, we offer holiday care from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We have space for up to 91 children and work with a professional team of pedagogical staff who, together with the teachers of IKC Het Sterrenbos, form one continuous pedagogical and educational line. This ensures your child's development seamlessly connects between school and after-school care. For communication with parents, we use Klasbord, a secure social media tool that keeps you informed about your child's activities and development. You can also easily contact us through this app.
