IKC Erasmus

IKC Erasmus is a small-scale Integrated Child Centre located at Huijgensstraat 64 in Vlaardingen. We provide public primary education, toddler care and out-of-school care under one roof. For children aged 2 to 4 we offer toddler care with an Early Childhood Education programme. Our team works thematically and through inquiry-based learning, sparking every child’s curiosity and giving each child the space to discover and develop their talents. Toddler care is organised in horizontal groups, bringing together children of similar age to play and learn. Clear agreements create an environment of calm, safety and autonomy. Parents are actively involved through the school app Parro and can make use of on-site care within the school building. There is no separate outdoor area exclusively for toddlers; all children share the safe play environment around the building.
