IKC De Zuidvliet Kortgene

Welcome to IKC De Zuidvliet Kortgene, part of Albero schools. Our Integral Child Centre (IKC) offers a continuous learning path for children aged 4 to 12. We combine primary education and after-school care (BSO) under one roof in the multifunctional facility 'De Stadsweide' at Stadspolderlaan 6 in Kortgene. Our BSO is designed to provide children with a safe, challenging and enjoyable place after school. We offer before-school care from 7:00 AM and after-school care until 6:30 PM, allowing parents flexibility in dropping off and picking up their children. Our pedagogical staff provide a warm and familiar environment where children can play, relax and discover new things. The school playground of De Zuidvliet has recently been transformed into a green oasis. Children can play among willow tunnels, a horizontal climbing tree, a water stream, an outdoor classroom and an insect hotel. This natural play environment stimulates imagination and outdoor play. We believe in the importance of being outdoors and learning through discovery. As a public IKC, we are open to all children. We work from an open and inclusive vision, where every child feels welcome. Our location has 127 students in the 2024-2025 school year, spread across different age groups.
