IKC De Westhoek

Welcome to IKC De Westhoek, our Healthy School child centre located at Dr. Jan Schoutenlaan 36 in Maassluis. We provide daycare (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 years in one building where education and childcare are fully integrated. Every child is excellent in our eyes: we adapt education to the child, not the other way around, so that deaf or hard-of-hearing children also feel at home here. Our KDV group has 44 places and operates from one clear vision and pedagogical policy. We start language development early, so your child is introduced to English from the daycare onwards. In addition, we offer Early Childhood Education (VVE), optimally supporting the development of the very youngest. The children play and learn in a safe, natural environment with a spacious garden that invites outdoor play and discovery. Parents are always kept informed of their child’s experiences through our parent app. We work closely with parents and consider their involvement indispensable.
