IKC de Wegwijzer

Welcome to IKC de Wegwijzer, located at Prunusstraat 76 in Groningen. As an Integral Child Center, we combine a warm, safe daycare environment for children aged 0-4 with an innovative primary school. Our daycare provides a familiar place where your child feels safe and secure, while developing and discovering through play. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This allows us to perfectly tailor care and activities to your child's developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff specialize in guiding babies and toddlers, and closely monitor each child's development. Through our Early Childhood Education programs, we offer structured activities that stimulate your child's development in language, motor skills, and social abilities. The activities we offer are specially designed for the youngest children. Music and dance are part of our daily program, where children discover rhythm and movement through play. Creative activities such as drawing, crafting, and painting stimulate fine motor skills and imagination. Language development is central to everything we do, from reading aloud to singing and talking. Our spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and nature experiences. Children can safely romp, build sandcastles, and discover nature here. For the youngest children, we have separate sleeping areas where rest and routine are central. Warm meals are freshly prepared daily and adapted to the needs of young children. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. At IKC de Wegwijzer, we believe it's important that your child develops in a warm, stimulating environment. We work closely with parents and keep you informed about your child's development.
