IKC De Regenboog

We are IKC De Regenboog, located at Generaal Hakewill Smithlaan 3 in Middelburg. Together with primary school De Regenboogschool we form one Integral Child Centre where children aged 4 to 13 can enjoy before- and after-school care. Our BSO is there for children before and after school, on free days and during school holidays. Our pedagogical staff provide a varied and challenging range of activities every day. The main goal is that children can play and relax together in their free time. We work with three age groups, whereby the moment of transition depends not only on calendar age: sometimes a child is ready for the next group earlier or later. On Wednesdays, Fridays and during holidays we merge the groups, so that younger and older children meet and learn from each other. During school holidays we organise holiday care with a festive programme. The holiday programme is drawn up in consultation with the children and is published well in advance on www.UN1EK.nl, so parents can see exactly what is planned. Children who normally use BSO elsewhere are also very welcome; registration via UN1EK's Child Planner is then required. Our BSO is open from 07.00 – 08.30 and from 14.00 – 18.30, Monday to Friday, except on official public holidays and a study day. Everything regarding registration, placement and payment is handled by UN1EK Education and Childcare. Working or studying parents can make use of childcare allowance.
