Welcome to IKC De Regenboog, a special place at Generaal Hakewill Smithlaan 3 in Middelburg where childcare and education seamlessly come together. Together with Regenboogschool, we form one integral child center where children from 0 to 13 years can grow up in one familiar location. For our youngest ones, we provide care at our daycare center for children aged 0-4 years, working with vertical groups. This setup means that babies, toddlers, and preschoolers play and learn together in one group, creating a homely and natural atmosphere where older children can stimulate the younger ones in their development. Our childcare professionals are ready every day to give your child a warm welcome and guide them in their development. We believe it's important that children feel safe and secure, so they have the space to discover and develop themselves. We work from a Christian identity where every child is unique and beautifully made. This translates into a loving and positive approach where we encourage children to discover and develop their talents. For the youngest ones at our daycare center, we pay special attention to basic needs. We provide diapers when needed and ensure bottle feeding according to your child's schedule. Our experienced staff know how important good nutrition is for young children's development. Therefore, we serve a daily warm, healthy meal prepared with fresh and organic products where possible. For children with special dietary needs such as vegetarian or halal food, we gladly make appropriate alternatives. The activities we offer are tailored to your child's age and development. We work with themes such as fantasy, movement, fairy tales, and water. Our childcare professionals organize creative activities such as arts and crafts, music making, reading aloud, and dramatic play. We also offer yoga lessons where children playfully learn to relax and get to know their bodies. We believe in the importance of outdoor play and therefore go outside every day to our safe garden with play equipment and natural elements where children can romp and discover. We offer flexible childcare options, from half days to full days, adapted to your needs as a parent. Upon request, care from 7:00 AM is possible. We understand that every parent and every child is unique, and therefore we like to look together with you at what best suits your situation. Our goal is to be an extension of your family, where your child feels at home and goes to with pleasure.
