IKC de Regenboog Bloemenstraat

Welcome to IKC de Regenboog, located at Bloemenstraat 2 in the centre of Bemmel. We are an Integral Child Centre where childcare, toddler groups and primary education blend seamlessly. For our youngest children – from 0 to 4 years – we provide high-quality daycare and toddler groups in the same building, so your child experiences familiar faces and a continuous developmental line from baby to preschooler. Our KDV groups are horizontal: children of the same age are together. The Pink baby group welcomes children from 3 to 27 months. The focus here is on rest, regularity and secure attachment. Our pedagogical staff follow your child’s rhythm: sleeping, feeding, changing and playing alternate in a familiar schedule. For the very youngest we supply nappies, bottle feeding and gentle care products; you only need to bring an extra set of clothes. The Purple toddler group and the Light-Green toddler-work group are designed for children aged 2 to 4. Play-based learning is central: we consciously work on language and speech development, fine and gross motor skills, social skills and independence. Small groups and regular staff ensure familiarity. We regularly explore our greened playground – the vegetable garden and outdoor classroom stimulate all the senses – and make use of the rich play and learning environment of the entire IKC. We also offer one vertical group: Yellow, for children from 0 to 4 years. In this mixed-age group children learn from each other: the older toddlers practise caring and help the babies, while the very youngest pick up new stimuli. Activities are always tailored to each child’s developmental level. Parents choose our KDV location for its warm atmosphere, clear communication and smooth transition to primary school. A warm handover – a conversation between parents, pedagogical staff and teachers – ensures that after the toddler years your child can take the next step within IKC de Regenboog without any worries.
