IKC De Kindertuin

Welcome to IKC De Kindertuin at Guido Gezellestraat 32 in Maassluis; a place where you can grow! We provide full-day childcare for children aged 0 to 4 in a modern, sustainable building specially designed to give children space to discover, play and develop. Our day-care centre is part of UN1EK Education and Childcare and has room for up to 46 children. At IKC De Kindertuin we believe that the period from 0 to 4 years is a crucial phase in a child’s life. Together with parents we want to give every child the tools to become themselves. Our identity inspires us to see life as a journey in which a child becomes more fully human. That is the basis of our approach. We believe in every child and in each other. Every child must learn to find and dare to take their own path, but they never have to do it alone! Our new building is sustainable and playfully designed, matched to robust masonry. Each room is equipped with a demand-controlled ventilation system that ventilates based on CO₂, ensuring a healthy indoor climate. The central hall offers space for encounters and has partition walls with integrated coat racks along the classroom sides. On ledges the children can display their creations.
