IKC de Horizon

Welcome to IKC de Horizon in Rilland, a homely location where children aged 0 to 4 can grow up safely and securely. We are part of Kibeo and work closely with primary school De Horizon, allowing your child to move seamlessly from childcare into primary education. Everything we do revolves around calm, routine and attention. Our experienced pedagogical staff give your baby or toddler a safe environment in which play, sleep and meals follow a predictable rhythm. We use horizontal groups, so your child is surrounded by peers and all activities are perfectly matched to his or her developmental stage. The youngest children have their own sleeping rooms with cribs and toddler beds; preschoolers nap on beds in the quiet area. Throughout the day we make room for creative expression: clay work, painting, singing and story time are part of the programme. We stimulate language development by talking a lot, looking at picture books and singing songs. In addition, we go outside every day; our own garden offers plenty of space to climb, play in the sand and explore. When the weather is nice, the children can eat and play outdoors. Personal care is included: we provide house-brand nappies and wipes and give bottle feeds on request. For older children we serve a healthy snack with fruit and drinks. Does your child have an allergy or special diet? We are happy to adjust the meals to his or her needs. Parents stay informed through our Kibeo app, where you can follow photos, sleep and meal times.
