Club Basker IKC - de Hoge Hoeve

Welcome to BSO IKC de Hoge Hoeve in Westervoort! We are part of the Integral Child Center de Hoge Hoeve, where childcare organization Zonnekinderen works together with the primary school of Stichting Innerwaard and Zozijn Child & Youth Care under one roof. Our BSO is specially designed for children aged 4 to 13 and offers a familiar place after a day at school. Our location makes optimal use of the beautiful, multifunctional spaces within the IKC building. Children can visit the theater, singing and dance room where they can develop their creativity. In the technical classroom, they can build, hammer and saw. We also have a cooking café, an art studio and a gym. The adventurous outdoor playground and the sports fields of Sportpark Wesstar are actively used for sports and nature activities. We believe in freedom of choice. Therefore, children can choose from activities within our five pillars every day: Sports, Culture, Nature & Adventure, Multimedia & Technology and Worldwise. Our coaches regularly visit with amazing activities and organize special days around these themes during holidays. Think of big scavenger hunts, survival activities, theater and dance workshops and sports clinics. For parents who have to work early, we offer before-school care from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM. Children can quietly eat their own breakfast and play before being taken to school. After school, we pick up children from all schools in Westervoort with our own Zonnekinderen buses and our own staff. During holidays we are open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM and organize fun, exciting and varied activities and excursions. Thanks to the collaboration within the IKC, children regularly see familiar faces, which gives a sense of security. Our combination staff work both at school and at the BSO, ensuring a seamless transition between school and childcare.
