IKC De Buytenkans

Welcome to the daycare center of IKC De Buytenkans, located in the heart of the Buytenwegh neighborhood in Zoetermeer. We are proud to be part of the Integral Child Center De Buytenkans, where childcare, primary school and after-school care come together under one roof. This means your child maintains a familiar environment throughout all developmental stages, from baby to school-age child. Our spacious group rooms border a beautiful garden, ensuring plenty of natural light. Children enjoy themselves in various play areas: the doll corner, car corner or construction corner. For the littlest ones, we have specially designed areas with soft rugs and age-appropriate developmental materials. In the central hall, more play fun awaits: a shop where toddlers can do their 'grocery shopping' and in winter, a ball pit for hours of play. Outside, it's truly delightful. We have our own baby meadow and toddler playground - a piece of nature in the city. Here children playfully learn about seasons through our fruit trees. They crawl through grass, hide in bushes, race on the track, play in the sandbox or slide down our popular slide. When weather permits, we make spontaneous trips like park picnics or city discovery tours. We regularly organize special activities that stimulate your child's development. PeuterGym is one such activity we've made free and accessible to all parents in the neighborhood. Other highlights include Mud Day, reading breakfast, and participation in the King's Games. These activities contribute to rich and varied daycare. Our pedagogical staff work closely with De Buytenkans primary school teachers. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition when your child moves to primary school. We make this step as small as possible so your child quickly feels at home in the new environment.
