Basker IKC - de Brug

IKC de Brug KDV is located at Schoolstraat 7 in Westervoort and is part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) De Brug. The daycare center provides care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a dedicated toddler group. This toddler group has its own space close to the kindergarten classes, allowing children to interact daily with kindergarteners and ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. Within the IKC, combination staff members are active in both childcare and education. This allows children to see familiar faces and build a sense of familiarity. The toddler group uses the learning area for the lower grades of the IKC, which is equipped with various challenging corners where toddlers and kindergarteners can play and learn together. IKC de Brug offers a special toddler-plus program. Toddlers regularly visit the kindergarten class to participate, allowing them to get used to their future classroom. The intensive collaboration within the IKC provides an uninterrupted developmental line where childcare and education seamlessly connect and reinforce each other.
