Welcome to IK-OOK at Stormgat 1 in Gastel. We are a daycare center for children aged 0 to 4 years, providing care in a safe, home-like environment. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff follows the educational policy of Stichting IK-OOK, focusing on the well-being and development of each child. Children have space to play and discover in age groups. For the youngest ones, we have quiet baby corners with cribs and changing areas. Toddlers and preschoolers can play for hours in our spacious group rooms with various development corners. We work with themes that connect to children's experiences and offer activities such as music making, reading aloud, crafts, and outdoor play in our own garden. We value collaboration with parents and caregivers. We have daily extensive conversations about how the day went and adjust to your child's needs. We offer flexible daycare days and times, with half-day options available. For the children, we provide healthy meals and snacks, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. Our location is equipped with a separate sleeping room where children can sleep peacefully in beds or strollers. We use the garden for outdoor play and nature experiences. We regularly make trips to the playground or library nearby. For preschoolers, we offer a preschool program in preparation for elementary school. At IK-OOK, your child feels at home. We create a warm environment where children can safely develop at their own pace.
