Welcome to IK-OOK at Kindcentrum 't Smelleken in Valkenswaard. We are a daycare center for children aged 0 to 4 years, providing care in two age groups: 0-2 years and 2-4 years. Our daycare center is an extension of home. Children receive the space and professional, loving guidance to grow in their development. Our baby/toddler group focuses on the youngest children. We pay a lot of attention to the settling-in period and to the social-emotional (attachment) and motor development of babies and toddlers. Our toddler group works with an integrated toddler program using the integral recognized VE program Startblokken. This program stimulates language and cognitive development and prepares children playfully for primary school. We offer a safe, stimulating environment in which children can develop optimally. Our pedagogical staff are well-trained and create a homely atmosphere in which every child has the space to be themselves. We work closely with the primary schools of RBOB de Kempen, creating a natural connection between childcare and education. Our opening hours are from 07:30 to 18:00.
