Welcome to IJplein, our daycare center located at Gedempte Insteekhaven 80 in Amsterdam-Noord. We are part of TintelTuin and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is uniquely situated along the IJ river and pays special attention to the diverse cultures in the area. At IJplein, we believe it's important for children to play, grow and develop in a warm and safe environment. We only offer full-day childcare to ensure sufficient pedagogical staff per group, giving children the peace and attention they deserve. We work with horizontal groups where children are grouped by age. As part of our pedagogical policy, we offer early childhood education (VE). This is a special program focusing on language development, motor skills, social relationships and creativity. It provides excellent preparation for primary school and helps children develop optimally. We value making parents feel welcome at our childcare center. Therefore, we regularly organize tours and are always available for questions. Due to waiting lists, we advise parents to register their child when they are 12 weeks pregnant.
