Ichthus

Kindcentrum Ichthus is located at Schoolstraat 1 in the heart of Genemuiden and is part of Accrete. Under one roof we provide Christian primary education and after-school care. For our BSO groups this means that children aged 4 to 12 can come to a familiar place after school where they feel safe and challenged. We work from the vision ‘Expeditie Accrete’. During this journey of discovery children develop their talents through play. We appeal to their creativity with music, drawing, dance, programming and crafts. In addition, we learn by moving and working together. We regularly go outside to explore the environment and connect with the nature and society around us. Excursions and outdoor activities are therefore part of our regular offer. Our pedagogical staff guide each child at his or her own level. We set personal goals and tailor activities to what the child needs. We call this personalised discovery learning. The garden around the centre offers plenty of space to play and move. Parents stay informed about what their children experience through our app; photos and messages give a clear picture of the afternoon. In short, at Kindcentrum Ichthus children receive a rich learning and play environment after school where they can be themselves and discover new skills.
