Hummeltje

Kinderdagverblijf Hummeltje is a cozy and small-scale daycare center located on the edge of Vechtzoompark in Overvecht, Utrecht. Every day we play in our beautiful and large garden, even when it rains. Children can run, cycle, splash in puddles or make sand cakes here. Inside we have various play corners, so children can choose their own play area or activity. There is an atelier and we work with themes. A loyal group of staff members provides a safe, caring and cozy atmosphere daily. At our daycare center we offer preschool education. The combination of childcare and preschool is unique in Utrecht. Our pedagogical staff have received special training for this. All children receive extra attention and time for language games, reading aloud, drawing, listening, singing and movement. This way they are better prepared for primary school. We have one baby group, one toddler group and two 'vertical' groups where children aged 0-4 play and learn together. Hummeltje is easily accessible by bike, public transport and by car.
