Welcome to Peuteropvang Hummelhonk, located at Kindcentrum De Bukehof on Olmenstraat 1 in Oudenbosch. We are a small-scale toddler care facility with room for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Oudenbosch, we provide a safe and loving environment where your child can grow, learn and discover. Our toddler care follows the Uk & Puk method, a recognized program for Early Childhood Education (VE). Through play, we prepare children for primary school. We focus on language development, social-emotional skills and motor development. Each morning starts in a circle where puppet Puk tells us what we'll be doing that day. Activities connect to current themes such as 'Cuddles', 'Hooray, a baby' or 'This is me'. After circle time, children play and work in small groups on theme activities. We sing together, read picture books and use our own library. There's time for fruit and drinks in between. Around 11:30 we go outside to our safe, enclosed play area with sandbox and bikes. Occasionally we make trips to the library, supermarket or petting zoo. Our team consists of professionally trained pedagogical staff who are involved and caring towards your child's wellbeing. We work with familiar faces so your child sees the same caregivers regularly. We are inspected annually by the GGD and our inspection reports are publicly available through the National Childcare Register. Peuteropvang Hummelhonk has been officially registered since January 15, 2015 under LRK number 166342889. We provide care from Monday to Friday, with half-day options available.
