Welcome to KDV Hummelhof, our daycare center located within care facility Maartenshof in Groningen. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm and trusted environment where your child is at the center of everything we do. At KDV Hummelhof, we work closely with Maartenshof care facility. This unique collaboration allows our toddlers to regularly participate in joint toddler projects. During these projects, children visit the residents of Maartenshof, stimulating social interaction and development in a natural way. Children receive optimal attention, affection and security, while playfully learning to share, help and cooperate. Our pedagogical staff guide children with great enthusiasm and involvement. We work according to a clear pedagogical vision where the development of each child is central. Activities are tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children. We provide quiet moments for the youngest and challenging activities for toddlers and preschoolers. The location features a safe and challenging outdoor space where children can play and explore. We have special sleeping areas where children can rest peacefully, both indoors and outdoors in our outdoor sleeping facilities. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding and care products according to the rhythm your child is used to at home. KDV Hummelhof collaborates with primary schools in the neighborhood, allowing us to provide good connection to primary education. We offer pre-school education (VVE) to optimally prepare children for the next step in their development. For parents who need it, there is the possibility of early childcare from 07:00 AM.
