BSO De Wielerbaan

BSO Wielerbaan is located at the same site as Montessori School De Wielerbaan, at Disselhoek 50 in the quiet Helmerhoek district of Enschede. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who have started primary school. Our approach is rooted in Montessori principles: ‘Help me do it myself’. Within clear boundaries, children learn to make their own choices, set their own pace and take responsibility for their actions and their environment. After a long school day, the BSO is the place where children can relax freely and also discover new things. We offer a safe, familiar environment with room for both rest and challenge. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with respect for their individual development and encourage independence and cooperation. BSO Wielerbaan works closely with Montessori School De Wielerbaan, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We are based in the school building but also use the immediate surroundings for outdoor activities. Healthy nutrition and a safe, well-cared-for environment are high on our priority list.
